― Albert Einstein
During a meeting with my supervisor this week, I was reminded of this quote from Albert Einstein as we discussed what to do when you inevitably have a question or query about something that you don't know or understand. How that can be a scary place - not knowing. I, for one, am very anxious about not knowing what to do; especially given how foreign this whole world of distance learning is. Unfortunately, I can't help but feel embarrassed about being afraid to ask for help or guidance.
So if I took one thing away from my meeting, it would be this: I shouldn't be embarrassed about not knowing and I shouldn't be afraid of asking for help. I am on this course because I want to learn, not because I already know everything. I should be asking all the questions I can because that is why we are all here; to ask questions, help one another, share ideas, discuss them and be a community of learners.
After reading through a few blogs from existing students, I realised how common it is to be confused or lost in this new experience. It was a relief to know how normal it was to feel this way. So my hope is that anyone reading this post might find my mini-breakthrough as helpful with their struggles as it was for me.
I am very excited to start meeting everyone via your blogs or the Skype sessions and look forward to our adventure together.

Really nice post Harry :)
